Risk Sharing in the EMU

 I am very happy to share the project (link!) I have been working on this January.

Risk sharing is an issue the EMU has been trying to face since the Great Financial Recession; and while since the 5 Presidents' Report a lot of discussion has been generated, measures have yet to be applied.

The paper consists of a literature review of four relevant papers modelling diverse mechanisms and ways through which risk sharing can be increased in the Economic and Monetary Union.

While all papers show mechanisms that can effectively increase risk sharing, I show that for more complete and robust results, using forecast data when it comes to modelling can be key.
